Hi Captains! This is RaptorEvolved, I wanted to updated you on our progrss with the Re hauled Adepticon terrain project we have going on, back in 2007 I was asked to work on some quick terrain by the adepticon council. Since GW has pulled out there support of BFG I have been collaboration with Lordgobber and alex who run the bfg toiurny; our consensus was to create 6 tables each it's own theme and centerpiece aswell along with new scenarios, we wanted to create a memorable and cinematic bfg experience for all of you and we are hard at work creating all th new terrain. Our theme for this years revolves around a game Alex and I played called freelancer and we are taking our ques for the following systems
THEMES FOR BFG ADEPTICON TABLES
TABLE 1 TAU 23-29: Astroids are Grey/metallic with a rusted core some of the astroids I converted into small bases almost unrecognisable unless they pay attention this system has a giant blue gas planet and a smaller rocky planet run by the GMG
TABLE 2 OMEGA 7 RHIENLAND: Astroids are lava astroids, yellow/orange gas clouds, apparentlyon the upper side of the map there is a Jovian gas gianton the map and a wreck there
TABLE 3 TAU 23-29: Astroids are Ice so Shap angles to the cuts or those, Gas clouds are mostly water vapor so they will be airbrushed white. 1 Planet Orange rocky planet called harrison I will add a a Green gas giant to the system
TABLE 4 DUBLIN-LEEDS: combo Astroids will be Earth tones, Gas cluds red/white Dublin has planet Gia I will add Leeds and a gas giant in there like the one from Salisbury station
TABLE 5 OMNICRON SYSTEMS: Green System Zoner Have a black grey Gas Giant Deep in a gas cloud. They aslo have 2 smaller rocky planets 1 has a small ring system. Gas clouids are green astroids are black with a slightly green core.
TABLE 6 LIBERTY NY COLORODO: Astroids are Grey WITH an earthtone core Gas clouds are purpleblue Thereis planet rio grande and Denver wich is panted I will makerio grande into a gas giant(In addition I was thinking of dumping the astroids for this system and changing them in fields of debris that will count as astroids ingame.
here are some pics! ...I will update as I go along
