Those do look more like stunties than humans I must admit so might work in 10mm scale as dwarves.

The 6mm orcs are small enough I would be inclined to use them more as gnoblars than as Hobgoblins.

Hmmm, I might try one of the command packs. At the worst, I'll have blown 6 bucks plus postage  :)

Edit: Eeek! Make that $14, it's $8 for shipping from the US to the UK! Oh well, nothing ventured...

Have eureka stopped making them?
They are without a doubt the best CD 10mm models out there.

Not as far as I know and I sincerely hope not, always liked CDs for some reason. I like the look of Eureka's CDs but they're expensive. Having said that, I'll still probably end up buying at least some of their CD range one day.

If the Microworld stuff isn't quite what I'm after but still of a suitable size, I might use them for character stands or maybe mix them in with Eureka figures.

Command pack waiting on the mat this evening when I got home from work.

Are these figures suitable for 10mm Chaos Dwarves? In short, (pun intended), very possibly. In long:

In comparison to GW Dwarf Warriors, which measure around 7mm high, these guys are 6 to 6.5-ish mm high. The GW ones are 6 to strip. I reckon you might, with very careful positioning, get 6 of the Microworld ones into a rank but it would be tight. Probably easier just to go for 5 in a rank, 10 to a base? As single figures they aren't as "fat" as GW Dwarves, so to get the same level of "fattiness", maybe trying to squeeze 6 to a rank would make up for that?

To get them to the same height, a bit of plastic card added to the base would raise them up to the required level. The Microworld basing is much thinner than that of a GW figure strip.

Will I buy more to make a Chaos Dwarf army? Hmmm. I think I'd first buy a pack each of Eureka Blunderbusses and Dwargons and see how they compare. I don't doubt that the Blunderbuss figures are much fatter, perhaps putting 12 Microworld on a base but only 8 Eureka would disguise any sizing difference. The fact that the Dwargons are totally different creatures might not make any size difference that noticeable.

For now, I'll put these to one side and work my way through the metal heap. A couple of photos:

Edit - The 6 mounted general figures are of no use to me, does anyone want to trade? I'm after a few Chaos characters if anyone has got any spare? Or maybe an Araby Genie figure?
