Last week end, during my club's wargame con (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Hellana-Games/210180885773018) in the bring & buy i grabbed two complete battlefleet gothic boxes (one completely mint), with four extra imperial cruiser sprues, one retribution battleship box, one dauntless light cruiser blister, one sword frigates blister, two firestorm frigates blisters, 4 loose cobra destroyers, 3 loose infidel raiders and some strips of imperial fighters, bombers, for "just" 120 euros. Dont' know if it's a proper bargain, but i'm quite happy with it :-)

I got some Epic Chaos Hellblades for only £25 which I thought OK bearing in mind I never usually see them on Ebay.

I don't know about Chaos Hellblades, but I'm pretty sure that BFG lot is a bargain. Sounds like a very nice Imperial army, and a very good start for Chaos too (assuming it had all 8 cruisers).

Anyway the "real" bargain has been made by a friend of mine: at the bring and buy he grabbed a still wrapped in cellophane box of HQ expansion "wizards of morkar" in italian at 10 euros.............that little rascal, sold it two days ago on a gamer forum for something like 120 euros!

So with the insane prices sweeping most specialist games stuff on ebay, has anyone had any bargains? I've managed to get the Amarda book for £21 including postage.

You can try Ali Express, some people think its a fake website but its not. I bought a bunch of stuff for BFG their for relatively cheap. The down side for the low pricing is that it can take up too 30-40 days to reach you from China.

Wizards of Morcar is a holy grail to get in good condition! Worth more than Ogre Hoard, even. =-<

Did anyone else see a bunch of Dark Elves and Skaven go for normal prices? Like £10 a unit not £50?  I was watching them but didn't bid.

I saw the skavens and they were very tempting, they were also painted fairly well!

There does seem to be some sanity returning to the eBay prices for WM.  I've not been collating any data, but my impression is that common type blisters are now selling in the low to mid teens (£) from non-traders.  That said, there are lots of traders who have slapped a £30+ price tag on common blisters and they just go round and round on 30-day listings.

I recently bought a pair of rock lobbers.  One-off seller put them at £18 (incl. postage) on buy-it-now and I thought "at £9 each, why not?" and grabbed them for a future project.  The traders were asking around £20 for single lobbers.  No chance.

Yeah EA, that's what I'm saying for sure - I've seen Skaven and Dark Elves go for perfectly resonable prices - something unthinkable back in late 2013 when the plug had been pulled.

I agree, prices are going back to reasonnable prices. But it may be only for a matter of weeks or months. it happend already at the beginning of this year. It went back to high prices for three months, then.

Not as well painted as that. And the seller only agreed to ship in the UK, that's why they went for a low price. Clearly, there is a buyer who won a very nice skaven army for a very cheap price :)

I'll never get why people limit postage like that! And it's always so frustrating to see!

Yeah, saw the Skavens but noticed they wouldnt ship outside of UK so less cash for the seller I suppose ;)

I usually contact sellers that do not ship outside of country and ask if they might reconsider. Sometimes it helps, sometimes you dont even get an answer.

I picked up 5 High Elf sealed Blisters for £30 and free postage. I didn't need x2 of the silver helms but they gave me trading fodder and I thought it was all good for £6 each a blister delivered!
