« on: March 25, 2014, 08:27:34 PM »
So, that is the question,

First to ask, first to answer:

I have a kislev reinforcment mini proyect:
- a kislev knight and a stretli (musket & berdiche) to end the mini 5 unit proyect
- Also a unit of for the araby army. A special unit of camelry guards for the sultan.
- At last unit of fishmen/sea daemosn half painted.

and in your table, what do you have?

A mess!

  • WWI French infantry
  • WWI German Cavalry
  • Air Elementals
  • Various WM Command stands that need a bit of repairing around the basing.
  • BoFA ruins
  • WWI German Artillery

At least they are all 10mm!!

At the moment - almost nothing!

I'm awaiting a delivery of infantry figures from Pendraken to make up 4 Bowmen and 4 Guards units for my Araby army. I've already got the command figures (8 officers and 8 standard bearers), so I guess I should be getting on with painting them, but apart from that nothing.

The last thing I painted was a pack of Old Glory LRE207 War Elephants and Crews (5 models). That gave me a unit of 3 elephants for my Araby army and 2 Tuskas for my Dogs of War.

I have 12 Warmaster regiments of Skeleton Spearmen (nearly half way through them......)

And some old citadel chaos warriors figures (early slotta base era) that I am re-basing for my roleplaying/D&D miniatures collection.

40K Eldar Guardians.
'In progress' for the longer term with Warmaster is the last few units to take my Orcs and Goblins to 1500pts, then 2000. That, and converting daemon chariots and beasts.

I'm finishing my Warmaster hedquarters tent and i will then begin to recast a simple tent i have in order to build a complete tent village for an army on movement.

And then i think i will (try to) propose a "Set the ennemy camp on fire !" scenario, with an attack by night.

About 2500pts of WM Undead ungoing a re-paint to be a themed LotR (good)Army of the Dead or (evil)Army of Angmar. Also need to decide how to do the Bone Giants and Sphinxes but that's a bridge to cross later.

Err... I was just going to continue using with the Khermi armylist to be honest. My theme is mainly a 'counts-as' army. As in, my undead are painted all ghostly to look like the LotR Army of the Dead but to avoid confusion, the unit you see is the same unit in the Warmaster army book.

OK!  You're best off using a Games Workshop Warhammer Fantasy Ushabti for a bone giant.  They just about fit on the 40mm by 20mm base and I've seen people here use them.

Only if you can get one secondhand. Just had a look on their website - £31.50 for 3 figures?! That's insane!
