Ok den a wee bit more fer ya…………. Wif some cutting and bending, sweating and worrying  I lose the GW base and when the smoke clears.  Out of Da Garage rolls “Da Grumbla”.   It’s still a work in progress, but it is getting closer and I like it more betta than how it was before.  In the picture of “Da Kids” it’s the 2nd wagon from the right.  I think this one will make Da Boss smile fer sure…………….

“Da Grumbla” is all talking to me.  It’s rumbling and grumbling and wanting to get stuck in.  Me smile is pretty big.

I really like my turret bit.  Although I worry about when I put paint down on it.  Fingers crossed it will all work out in da end.  Oh, I’m pretty happy wif me bumpa too!

She still needs some work, but I’m pretty happy wif how it’s coming along.  I was really happy wif me treads.  Now Da Big Shoota on top is a GW bit.  I’m working on some kustom Big shootas, but nothing is far along enough to show.  It’s da debate you know.  Use da GW bit (I really like the look) or use one of me own?  I’m thinking magnets as then I can mix and match as I want.  The roof plate on Da Drivers shak has been re-worked and looks better now.

Here is a shot for scale.  Gits have said don’t worry too much about it, but dang you know there is something satisfying about keeping your scratch built stuff in line wif GW stuff.  It’s a personal challenge, and it sure feels good when you can pull a Squig out of yer hat!

It can only end very orcish and nice :)

The various parts you've made with green stuff are great. Maybe you can add some few thing to this too clean turret. A patch or two on the canon ?

So next up in my world of mini madness is “Da Deff Tracta”.  I’m really enjoying dis build and it has taken on a life of its own.  Funny how miniatures do that to ya.  As I’m looking at the build I just can’t but help to start and really dislike the GW base that it sits on.  I love the top deck and it really smells of success.  Shoot, me thinks and I juz can’t help me self. Sooooooo I had to chop it up and rebuild.  Scary to do, but if it works out I’ll get to be “DA Big boss” at least in me own head for a bit!

So I cut and chop saving what I can and then set about rebuilding.  I added me own treads, and some other what knots.  I hope you like it half as much as I do.  The cool thing is it’s 100% mine.  I’ve still got a bunch of work to do before I show it to Da Boss, but me money says I’ll get some sweet squig pie fer dis one.

Ummmmmmm Me can feel da ground a rumbling, and da beauty full smell of exhaust.  It needs work, but man is she pretty me thinks.

I has dis idea fer a drop door fer da front.  You know a big iron fing dat could drop down and deploy a stand of boyz.  So I work on da bit, I smile and grin.  Then when I put da bit in place and sit back and look at it I realize it’s not going to work.  Hmmmmmmmm back to da Mek Shak fer me………..

Ahhhhhhhhhh Dat’s better me thinks!  It still needs a wee bit of work on it, but this one will do.  The moral of the story?  I read once that don’t be afraid to cut off, remove parts of your work and start again.  It’s hard to do, but hey it’s good practice.  Every time I build I get a little better.  My main goal is to get better, Sooooooooo Cut ya Gits, CUT!!!!!!!

Ok, wif all of dis building, hammering and Planning.  I’m so excited that I forgot Da Boss said he wanted some Fing BIGGA!  I get to thinking about my time in Da Drops, and what if Da Boss meant MUCH BIGGA?  See he isn’t always real clear dat way.  So I set out to make a Big Wagon fer him.  You know just in case.  So it’s some new treads an some bigga shootas.  Like a new squigley beast I sit back and take a good look at it.  Ahhhhhhh “Da Nasta Blasta” I will call you.   Fingers crossed, still much to do.  Let’s hope dat Da Boss is gonna like it.  Be-in an Blood Axe in all da first lesson is ta cover yer 6.  Let’s hope I’ve done that.

Ok, in a Pansy skull that’s me fer now.  Sorry for another long post, but I wanted to get you up to speed on what I’ve been up to.  As usual comments, criticism, help or what not is very helpful.  Thank you for taking the time to read this long post and sharing in me madness!

I'm surprised  I seem to have missed this thread earlier.

Great work on the ork vehicles, and I also really like the rebel grot stuff. Rebel grots almost got me into Gorkamorka.

Ok, I’z back!  As usual progress is ever slow.  It’s ok though cuz Da Boss has been fly-in around in space putting a hammering on some useless Gits!  Da good news is he’s had his boyz collecting Da Scrap so we can builds us more Dakka fer Da Waaagh.  Besides it puts Da Big Boss in good space so he tends to stay out of me work shop.  Ok enough of me banter I’m pretty sure you want to see some of me goods.  Well at least I hope ya do dat is!

So it’s been all about Da Big Wagons fer a bit.  I tend to get stuck dat way.  Here is a lineup of my current projects.  To the far left is Brother Blinds cool “Kill Blasta”.  I’m using it for scale reference and as inspiration.  It’s a really cool build!  To the far right is “Da Grumbla” one of me Gunwagons.  Oh and da Git  standing there is fer scale.  Scale is kicking me butt a bit.  Am I building too big fer Big Wagons?  I’m going to need to build a Gun Fortress or a Battle Wagon soon so I can make sure I’m covering me bases.  I’m really not sure where dis all goes, but I juz can’t help me self.  I’m building away……………

Here is a better shot of me 2 Big Wagons.  “Da Masta Blasta” is on Da left and on da right is “Da Teef Getta”.  We had some Freebooter lads sow up awhile back and well it is a great opportunity to pimp dare ride.  Me thinks dey is gonna be pretty happy wif “da Teef Getta” when I’z done.  Besides dey gots lots of teef ta spend an some nice Imperial grubbins too!  They is both still WIP, but I’m liking dem and they is all a coming together me thinks.

Here is a shot of Da ova side of “Da Teef Getta”.  I gotz ta put on some more plates (one can never have too many plates me thinks).  I needs ta reinforce Da Prow and I went back and doctored up da treads a bit.  The press mold came out pretty cool, but I lost too much detail.  Soooooooo I had to go back and fix dem.  If da Boss got a wiff of dem not right it could be bad fer me.  Ok speaking of bad fer me.  I added some extra gear wheel wot nots to the real and juz above da treads.  I’m not sure if I should keep dem?  Da Free Booter Boss sayz they is gonna generate more power fer da ship, but I’m not sure if I like da look.  What do you think?  A little help would be helpful as I’d like to keep me long beautiful ears intact.  Well what’s left of dem any way.

Here is a picture of da rear.  Still gotz lotz of work to do, but I’m liking da shape and feel so far.  Ummmmmmm der is dem wheels/gears again.  I’m not sure if I like dem.  The engine is going to get more exhausts (can never have enough smoke makers) and I’m really liking me doors (you can never have to many holes fer da boyz to jump out of, ya know).  Da rear of da roof is gonna ta need some fix-in too.  Ok that me fer now.  Part 2 is reroute.

Ok den, gots some more to show ya.

Here is da ova side of “Da Masta Blasta”  I’m planning on building some engine grubbins juz behind da big shootas and some more smoke makers.  I added a side jump door and well I think me loves her……………….  She needs work, dis is true, but man does she call out too me.

Here is a rear shot.  Yep another door (we likes doors) and well she needs work, but I think she is on her way.

I also did some work on “Da Deff Tracta”.  I added a hatch, covered me exhausts a bit and made sure I had a good strong strap to hold dem in place.  When yer running down Panzies stuff tend to get loose on ya.  Da Boss don’t like dat you see.  The tread wheels are press molded.  I’m debating on going back and cleaning dem up wif some green stuff love.  I’m not sure, we will see.

Here is da ova side.  I need to add a window juz to da side of da front windows.  Needs a clear field of fire so da boyz can find some good targets.  I’m working on da big shoota now.  The prow plate on the finished model will be more at a angle so hopefully I can display the front attack hatch.  Da boyz love charging out from  da front ya see ( well at least dem Goff lads dat is)  our Blood Axe boys tend to prefer da sides and rear ya see it makes since if ya think about it fer a moment.  Good thing Da Boss has a bunch of dem Goff lads fer da forward charging.  At da end of da day we don’t need to pay dat clan as much cause der ant many of dem boyz left.  Da Boss likes it dat way see! Ok dats me fer now.  As always advice, criticism or what not is very helpful and thank you fer taking the time to read and share in my epic madness!

Looking great, as usual. I'm not sure what to think of the extra wheels on the 'ship'- they're a bit out of place, but that area needs something. The only thoughts I've had is a ladder or cargo net, or maybe a small paddle wheel (should the boat ever try to swim).

Thanks Stormwind!  Ummmm ya Geep I'm real close to loosing da extra wheels.  Who cares what dat Freebooter Kaptin thinks.  As a filer, I'm thinking more exhausts, plates, or perhaps some shocks like I did on Da Deff Tracta.  I love when modeling creates these kind of mental challenges.  Ahhhhhhh wot to do?
