GW Website under maintenance
« on: April 09, 2014, 08:27:36 PM »
Well,  the GW website seems to be under maintenance right now.  I expect that the Specialist Games section and PDFs to be gone when it comes back up.

It was only a matter of time, to be honest. Looks like its time to get these two web sites in order, then....

Maybe I'm misremembering, but didn't you have all the pdfs posted somewhere?

In a weird way, its actually GOOD news.

Now that GW don't sell anything of any of their Specialist ranges at all, it frees up the 'frothers' (us lot!) to make and share ideas/sculpts etc. much more freely.

Would this be a good time to announce a new space combat system compatible with BFG miniatures?
Quite crucial to be able to tell minefields and rally points apart...

So are the SG rules going to be relinked? Im guessing not...
I don't make the rules, I just think them up and write them down.

I'm going to keep scribbling ideas for strips of Beastmen and Chaos Dwarves, I think!

Sure, place it in the Other Games section.

I agree. We are now free to do what we want. No worries about old rules once published by GW.
