2 days in out of 24 and it's at 75%, I think we can consider that a vote of confidence. =-P

Indeed, some popular product you got going there. I hate to see what these private iniatives will do to the insane Ebay pricing of Warmaster stuff in the long run. No, not really, actually I'm loving it! :D

I've pledged indirectly, via Forbes (for 4 units of zweihanders, as I originally stated). We're combining to save on shipping.

Thanks Dave.

Would people be interested in Halberdiers as well? They wouldn't be overly useful for a DoW army (unless you use the Zweihanders as Marauders and the Halberdiers as Swordsmen, or something to that effect) but for Empire players or historical gamers they'd definitely be useful.

Personally, not really interested in halderdiers, as I have lots of GW ones. For nice sculpts might go for 1 or 2 units to add a bit of variety.

If halderdiers can be easily created from the swordsman or pikemen then it would be a quick way to expand your range.

Myself, I'd be interested in a unit that would fulfil the birdman role. =-p

Just an update, I've had two decreases and four cancellations this past week. I'm assuming the decreases are due to people taking back anything they might have pledged towards pikemen. The cancellations, perhaps the fickle nature of wargamers?

I'm currently running the numbers for getting the Pikemen sculpted at the current pledge amount (read that as "how much will I be in the hole if I get them sculpted"). I'm not promising anything, just making you all aware.

If they get done, and you want to add them to your order AFTER the Kickstarter finishes (and save on shipping) that'll be doable for $10 each, regardless of your pledge level.

Bummer about the reductions/cancellations.  I'm reaching out by email to folks I know who play Warmaster, and I'll open up another TMP thread as the Kickstarter end approaches.

That really sucks that TMP doesn't let you post news items any more without being an advertiser.

The average KS cancellation rate is approximately 5%-8%, so I am told. Its entirely normal that a few people back out for a variety of reasons - changing their minds, not having the cash they thought, unexpected bills, etc - and says nothing about the products that they backed.

As it stands, with 4 days to go, you are at about 106% of the target, so well done for this. Even with an 8% cancellation, you are looking at $1956 before Amazon takes their 9%(?).

Congratulation.

Dave,

I'm one of the French backers - ordered 8 units, hoping there will be a mix of pike and swords. Thanks for making this happen.

And thanks to Vincent who offered to group our order, and I hope we'll get to see zweihander, pike, paymasters, civilians, woodelves, dwarf miners, and many many more.. :)
