Back up to 40 people now and $2202.  :D

I'm surprised a trader hasn't put in a largish backing, such that he could have a stock of, say, 50 units. Trader adds a few percent and sells them on. Everyone's happy.

There's obviously a demand for these figures, disappointing that no established firm is switched on enough to offer to be a dealer?

Thanks guys.

@andys - Ya, probably because it's a Kickstarter and not an actual product at this point. Maybe once I'm up an running that might be a possibility.

The backer response was what I was hoping to get so I'm happy at this point. It's my foot in the door, so to speak. If I can get another 2-3 units sculpted over the coming 12 months I'll be happy.

There's just over 14 hours to go if anyone's interested in pledging and hasn't yet. We're currently sitting at 2280.

Thanks andys.

KS has already collected the funds and I've e-mailed Bob about starting the Pikemen.

Great news Dave! I didn't contribute this time, too many other things on my list, but I'm really happy these are going ahead. Maybe when those pikemen are done I'll have some spare cash...

Congrats Dave!
Not sure what the snafu was on my end - probably the lousy internets in the hotel lobby I ordered them from and now I'm back too late for the KS; however, we'll connect separately, I'm excited to see these and participate in your next KS!!
Awesome to see you out of the gates and off to the races!

Once the KS pledges have shipped I'll be putting them up on the Warmonger website.

Sounds good to me. Looks like you've got all the bases covered. I would second the opinion someone has already mentioned that the strength of the pikes is going to be something to watch out for. You wouldn't want them to bend too easily, or worse, break but I'm sure you'll already have this in mind. Looking forward to seeing them.

I got an e-mail from Bob today, hopefully I'll have some pics of the dollies this week for you guys.

I ended up going with the banner/musician strip in line as per the suggestions on the French forum (most banners were in the middle of a block). Also, there's now going to be 4 rank and file strips in line, and 3 in column. You'll get 6 in column strips per unit (2 per base) and 8 in line strips (those plus the banner/musician strip will mean 3 per base). So each base will be laid out something like the attached. All the figs will be able to be separated if you like, so you can arrange your units however you want if you're not a fan of the layout pictured.

I just got this pic from Bob this morning. He said they should be done in the next week to ten days

You guys will also be getting one more rank and file Zweihander strip. Either unit will now have two of each rank and file and a banner/musician strip (15 strips/30 figures total).

Missed the Zweihänders! The would be great addition to my Empire army. But I guess they will be available even in the future.
