[MoW] some shots from a Man O' War demo
« on: November 05, 2014, 03:42:17 AM »
My buddy Chris was interested in giving this a shot again. As I only had one fleet we split it between us. He took the Greatship, Hellhammers and Wargalleys, I took Wolfships and Wargalleys. The store didn't have much in the way of sea terrain so we played on the "Chaos Seas" where the ground was water and the water, islands. :P

I the ships are done except for the pennants, I was holding off until I could source the decals but I should really get around to just painting them.

Oh, the markers are from Litko and will be great for remembering what happened to write a report. Plus they add some cinematic flare.

I denote the activating formation with the shot markers. Misses are the splashes, hits that fail to damage are the smoke, hits that damage are the blast and when a ship has a blaze on it I use the flame marker.

Very nice
I'm not usually a fan of those markers, but they suit MoW well.

Beautifully painted ships on display there.

This is the one game of GW's that I never purchased, and still regret never having done so.  It looks like a lot of fun.

Yeah the Litko markers really add to it and hopefully make the battlefield easier to "read".

Search for "micro marker" and they're spread throughout the pages.
