2015 New Year's Painting/Gaming Resolutions

Is it too early to start thinking about these? (This is a trick question, if you're not thinking about painting or gaming then you require mental evaluation).

Here's my lists!

Painting

• Finish my Epic Knights (23/35)
• Finish my Man O' War Empire fleet (3 Griffons, and highlights on the pennants)
• Finish my Necromunda Orlocks (4 juves, a leader and a heavy) and the Bounty Hunter I started
• Finish my Warmaster High Elf Lothern Sea Guard and Eagles
• Finish my Warmonger Miniatures Pikemen and Zweihander (my website seriously needs painted pics)
• Start painting a Warmaster Ogre army for Adepticon 2016 (sorry Dwarves, I just lost interest)

Gaming

• Get the NetEA Raven Guard or Knight Crusade list approved
• Play 36 games of Epic
• Play 12 games of Necromunda
• Play 12 games of Warmaster
• Play 6 games of Man O' War
• Add one more "regular" to our gaming group

Oh dear, listing it out that's quite a heap of metal to work through, getting on for 100 bases! That should keep me busy for a few months.

I'm hoping to get much more painting done in 2015 than I did this year, I struggled to maintain momentum especially after that damn void spinner nearly killed me! then a nagging bout of RSI really put paid to my painting plans

Painting

-Paint at least another 3k of mymeara eldar, including enough options to use them as one other craftworld
-Finish my Imperial Fists army (currently at 5/12k done)
-Get some kind of Guard army painted (current plan is for vanaheim, but that may change to steel legion)
-Paint up my WM Dark Elf reinforcements (cold one knights, manticore, witch king on dragon) and Complete the basing on the whole army
-Paint up 2k of WM dwarfs

Gaming

-Get the Imperial Fists Approved, move the Siege Assault Vanguard to developmental
-Represent the UK at the european epic championship in birmingham
-Attend at least 4 other epic events while the wife is on maternity leave and can babysit!
-Attend the warmaster triwiz in november if possible
-play a different army at each epic tournament
-Play 10 games with the Imperial Fists
-Play 8 games of Warmaster
-Play at least 40 games of epic
-Run Wrath of the Tyrant 2015

My gaming/painting goal for 2015 is to actually paint some armies. I have always not gamed enough, started too many 'cool minis' and finished very little. In 2015 I will be playing;
- WWII 6mm fighter game
- DUST Warfare
- Epic Armageddon (starting a new Tau force with Onslaught Minis)
- 6mm Ancients using Impetus
- Dropzone Commander

I dont care what I paint, but it has to contribute to one of those forces and I want to take the shortest route to get a game in on a table.

Gaming? What is that? Perhaps my first game since 2013? That means table top strategy gaming. Played a lot of normal boardgames, perhaps closest to the miniature hobby are the excellent Lego Heroica games.

I don't think any of these can be firm enough to be 'resolutions', but they're at least plans:

Paint up my Epic Guard and/or Epic Eldar and/or Epic Tyranids
Paint more Warmaster Orcs, Skaven and maybe some Khemri and/or Chaos and/or Daemons
Maybe paint up some Man o' War
My painting list will depend on what I can fit in my suitcase in the coming days 

For gaming- I want to finally play some games. I've found a local gaming group that may be open to corruption with Epic, Warmaster or Man o' War, as long as I can supply a starting point for various players.

I may solidify these plans in the coming weeks.

Keeping it simple ...

Stick to one game system (Warmaster) and in 2015 complete 'Dark Cathay' (usable as DE or Cathay lists).  And when that project is done, start on Beastmen.

Gaming: Play as much Warmaster as I can whilst starting to corrupt, er I mean convert some of the group to start playing Epic Armageddon again. Continue playing the new version of D&D role playing game.

Painting: Add to my Warmaster Chaos, Empire and Vampire Counts armies, finish re-basing my EA Dark Angels army and then start to model and paint up a traitor guard (Blood Pact) EA army.

Cheat by paying someone else far more skilled than I am to paint up my EA Dark Eldar force.

My goal (as all the years) is to paint 52 warmaster units.

2014 I could not do it but I was close. 2013 I did it.

About games, well continue the solo campaing, try to find a warmaster opponent in Galicia and have 1 WM fantasy game and other WM historical game with Edmund in Madrid.

Epic
32 stands of Imperial infantry to go with my newly repainted vehicles
At least another 1000 points of Orks (will they ever end?) - 495 points so far 315 on the painting table.

Deadzone
Two faction starters + enough terrain to play a game

Playing:
Partake in two Warmaster tournaments
Partake in one Epic tournament - done
Get in at least one casual game of any of the Specialist Games with aniron and gunm - BB game with gunm done.
