One dwarf brigade makes 3 orders and uses artillery to destroy my cannons and run one Middenheim infantry brigade. Quite impressive start of turn 1.
White wolves attack one of two advanced dwarf brigades...
.. while Middenland halbediers hit the flank of another brigade.
Deserved punishment for unfinished bases. Remember, always paint your bases!
Overall situation.
Flagellants loose skirmish support from dwarf hundgunners.
Hitting hard...
Flagellants desired to give proper punishment, but found that dwarfs armour saves are too awesome.
All quiate on the Middenheim flank. With the exception of knights, right flank didn't see any fighting action during the battle.
Middenland cavalry after succesfull charge.
Imperial halbediers wish it was Empire turn now... All Middenland halbediers were annihilated during the battle, but they destroyed few dwarf regiments.
Overall situation.
Dwarfs cleverly hiding in forrest.
At this moment, Dwarfs were just 2 units from breaking and had several demaged units. One of Empire targets was a unit of slayers on the right flank. White wolves smashed both them as well as another unit of dwarf warriors.
Coward of the match. This cannon battery disobeyed all orders and remained behind a hill for the whole battle!
Imperial banners flying over victories field of battle. Vivat emperor! It was good match and by no means one-sided.
