What's a good "bit" to put spare Whirlwind/Hunter turrets on?
« on: January 18, 2015, 04:09:19 PM »
I was thinking how good these would look as "Tarantula" emplacements, but I can't seem to find a good basis for the legs that the Forgeworld style turrets have.

Any idea?

Ironically they fit perfectly on the mk2 tarantula bases to make hyperios AA platforms.... my bases are quite green but you cant make that out through the basecoat, (bad) pic:

Ha ha, dang.

I was thinking the old Titan feet or the newer plastic Dreadnought feet but those aren't easy to get.

Those looks really good as Tarantulas.  In fact, they look slightly more imposing than the original model.  That's a great way to use those spare turrets.
