[WM] Adepticon 2015 - Warmaster Tournament
« on: March 23, 2015, 01:24:53 PM »
A few shots from the Warmaster games at Adepticon. Not as many as I would have liked. The lighting was pretty crap and even with the tripod a lot were blurry.

Todd's Chaos' heavy hitters.

My elves stick to the trees with them around.

We meet in the built up area, and thanks to some deadeye shooting from my archers (and poor saves) the elves live another day.

This one was uglier.

The Khorne General.

And Tzeentch sorcerer.

Spectrar Ghost's (Nat's) Dark Elves

They had a lot of shooting.

Chad's Orcs (they had a lot of units).

My elves castled up and put arrows in a lot of them.

Some woods made a bottle neck, and Orcs charging through got arrows for their trouble.

Such a pleasure to see painted armies en masse.

Looks like a great experience! Wish I had more time and money so I could have attended. :)

They're usually not posted.

I took High Elves (3:0), berzerkmonkey (0:2) and Todd (1:2) took Chaos, Spectre Ghost (2:1) took Dark Elves, Chad (the TO, 0:1) took Orcs and played a game when berzerkmonkey sat a round out.

Out of interest Dave, were you using the tournament HE army or the original?

Also SG's dark elf list would be nice to see if possible?

The tournament list. I'd feel dirty playing the original and hitting on 3+ with the bolt throwers and reavers.

This is pretty close I think:

Next year, I will bring my dwarves and make my sister in law let my brother come with me with his empire.  We were very sad we couldn't get there, being only a 4 hour drive away from my house.

Very nice armies indeed.

can I ask what the army lists were for the chaos players?

Did you all stay all three days and just duke it out all weekend? It must be worth the drive and then some to watch all the games right?

I have been trying to go through all of the youtube videos to see if anyone got a video of warmaster if not just by accident but haven't seen anyone yet.  LOL

did you enroll any new players while there?  ;)

We stayed Wed through Sun, playing EA, WM, NM and SH.

Unlikely there's any coverage of those outside of SH.

Todd was a new Adepticon WM player. Not sure if he'll be back next year but we'll see.
