I dont know if this guy posts here, but in my search for Warmaster Beastmen stuff, I found his amazing blog:
http://wrathruinandthereddawn.blogspot.com/2015/06/the-beastmen-army-for-warmaster.html.

This is a link to trial rules he uses for updated Beastmen. Have you seen this before? I'm fascinated by the conversions he does and want to replicate many of them.

He had something similar for Vampire Counts, I though, but I cannot find it on his blog any more and dang, he seems to have no way to contact him...

Anyway, since I am building armies for both Warmaster and Mayhem, I figure anything I cant use in one I can use in the other. What do you think?

It is an interesting blog indeed!

I think he use regular armylist for Vampire counts. If you have any specific question, we could try together to find an answer if the author of the blog do not reveal himself

I like the conversions.

I find his list a little much:
- Some points values are off IMO (eg. Ungor Raiders are better than Goblins, for the same points), and there are way too many special rules.
- It's also in Warmaster's style to reduce unit numbers and to give more generic abilities (eg. I would remove Ungor Raiders altogether, and consolidate some of the monster types (A Giant and Shaggoth are near identical as-is)). That list has 17 non-character entries- the highest in any other army is Chaos, with 11. There's no reason you can't use variant models with the same rules (like how Tomb Kings have a Tomb Scorpion model, that can fill in as a Sphinx or Bone Giant).

With a little work I think this could be great.

I agree with Geep.  Some lovely modelling and painting which has inspired me to get on with my own Beastmen project.  But I'd prefer to see an edited down list with fewer entries.  That said, still some great work in taking the Beastmen forward in WM.

That is a really crowded army list.  Four elites?

Variety is the spice of life! You wont take them all every game, right,  but next game doesnt have to be the same as last game. I like it.
