Hey Phil-o-matic that looks cool!

Is the white stuff plaster or a sort of clay?

is it possible to see a picture of the buildings with a 28mm figure size comparison?

thanks!
the white stuff the bases are made of is foamcore. one of my friends is an architect and i "boroughed" it from him.
the stuff under the gallows is "styropor", i only know the german name. it is some kind of polystyrol.

pics with size comparison coming asap.

damn...
i knew this question would come...

i`m more a "builder" than a "painter", so give me some time to put some paint on those pieces.

Would an airbrush and some blu-tac help? Use the airbrush to cover the model quickly, then mask areas with the blu-tac when working with different colours. Of course I've never tried this, heck it's been literally decades since I've built any terrain, but I've always imagined that it would be a good quick and easy way of getting paint on it...

It is as simple as you said Stom!! I encourge to prove airbrush to all of you, now they made very compact compressors practically without noise.

You could use Andeas colours (acrylic) thinner with water to charge your airbrush, so do not worry to buy another expensive set of colours specifically for your airbrush

But some precaution should be taking special care: Work in a box, if you do not want to have your table or nearer wall light blended :). Also open windows, and very importat use mask because some colour have heavy metals (normally greens have Zn cinc) and breath those little spraied drops of paint carring heavy metals are not too good for your health. The last thing keep your airbrush clean when not using it :)
