Hello all,
I had this battle report lying about so I thought I'd upload it for you.
It's an old battle from 2003 against Jacques Desbordes, actually the first warmaster Battle I played.
I don't have any pictures, but the maps should make it quite obvious what happened.
Scenariowise a horde of greenskins have swept into the valley leading up to Karak Kadrin. The dwarf host is assembled and marches to stave off the greenskins.

Deployment
Orc Turn 1 - The Orcs advance
Dwarf Turn 1 - Advance to the hill falters and only one brigade reaches Kadrin Hill
Orc Turn 2 - Assault on the left flank under impulse of the Giant
Dwarf Turn 2 - Reserves to the right! Gyrocopters to disrupt cavalry advance!
Orc Turn 3 - Attack on the left grinds to a halt
The orc attack on the left managed in wiping out a single unit of handgunners before grinding to a halt as the trollslayers manage to hold back the giant and a unit of Orcs for the loss of only a single stand.
On the right flank, the Gyrocopters are vaporized by the charging Boar boyz.
Dwarf Turn 3 - Reserves to the right
The dwarf reserves reinforce the right while the trollslayers try to take out the giant, who kills off the unit, advances into the rangers where they both fight each other to death. On the dwarven left, the warriors strike at the cavalry who's been doing nothing but having a picnic since turn 2. The picnic turns into a BBQ as the advancing flame cannon shoots forward a jet of flame engulfing a whole unit of wolfriders before exploding spectacularly.
Orc Turn 4 - Cavalry try to force the issue
While the left flank still ponders how a sure win on the flank failed (confusion), the cavalry tries to force the issue on the right. They break through the handgunners, but are unable to force themselves past the Dwarven warrior line.
Dwarf Turn 4 - Consolidating into the center
While mopping up on the dwarven right continues, the center is consolidating the hill position while the left attacks the scattered cavalry before consolidating to the centre.
Orc Turn 5 - A lull in the fighting
After receiving a bloody nose, the cavalry disengage while the greenskin Troll reserves are moving up.
Dwarf Turn 5 - Set to carry the day
Having kept their position on the hill, the dwarfs want to break their opponent at last, but orders to charge fail to be followed.
Orc Turn 6 - The troll charge
On initiative the trolls charge in and absolutely slaughter the dwarfs without even loosing a single stand in the process.
It is too much for the dwarfs, who break for Karak Kadrin.
Final result:
Phyrric victory: Orcs carry the field but have suffered far more losses than the dwarfs did. The points for the trollslayers made the difference.
