@andys, don't pick fights with Elves.  They have Command 10 generals, heavy cavalry, flyers, AND awesome shooting ...
Yes but they aren't a grumpy 59 year old bloke, are they?

If it's pie in the sky thinking then a Khemri Giant Scorpion popping up would be fab.

If it's more realistic - I'm hoping to get some more common Undead through swaps and cash in the new year, and I'll get myself some proxy wood elves.

So, did Santa deliver?
"I cannot believe you when you say [your friend] has identical plastic boxes for his armies, all color coded [...] Don't you think that is being little obsessive?"
"Yes, but not enough to scare us wargamers."

Yep. Got the Dwarves done (bar the basing) and I've base coated the chariots.

Time to start thinking about the next order... ;D ;D

Well, my family and the jolly old man didn't get me any games stuff, but the Christmas Cash I got did!  I got great deals twice this Christmas season, once with some pretty cheap eBay stuff.  Ended up getting enough for about 1500 points of high elves for about 50 dollars, which is crazy.

Then even crazier I found out a local man had bought the stock of an out of business hobby store.  He was selling off the stock for half price or less what the hobby store had.  Long story short I ended up buying $640 retail worth of Warhammer stuff for $215, plus a few other games, including Armada.  I may have gone over board...

In other news if anyone is interested in buying a Warhammer War Altar or Luminark, let me know, I may have multiple now... :)
