Epic Armageddon unit/stat cards?
« on: December 18, 2015, 10:21:03 PM »
Hi Guys,
Does anyone know where I can find some stat/unit cards for printing out, found links in some older threads but they all appear to be dead now.
Cheers in advance
J

Just to clarify, you're definitely looking Epic Armageddon cards and not cards for Space Marine/NetEpic?

Hi, Sorry I'll try to clarify...I'm building forces for playing the NET EA rule set but like the idea of a stat card for each different unit rather than a general army build printout, similar to the privateer press warmachine cards if your familiar, having said that I'd consider any card configuration as a starting point, preferably something that I could play around with and modify accordingly
Hope that makes more sense?

I think that I understand.

In essence, what you're looking for is a summary sheet for each formation on a card, so that you don't keep having to refer to the rules all the time to look up statistic, such as movement value, saving throws, and fire fight value for the Net EA rules.  Is this correct?

Assuming so, I'm not sure whether this has been done for Net EA, or if it has whether it's up-to-date.  Dave would probably know, so if he doesn't see this topic, you could always try sending him a personal message :).

I started making something like you're enquiring about for war engines in EA (no such game as Net EA btw, NetEA is just the lists, EpicUK, Epic-FR, EpicAU etc all use exactly the same ruleset, the Epic:Armageddon rulebook from 2006 or so :) )

basically I had a nice pic of the war engine and a summary of its weapons, and an area to mark shields/damage/crits like warmahordes cards use, unfortunately real life got in the way and I've not managed to get any further with it....

here's a mockup of one for a warlord titan, still needs more work, the idea is for them to be ~A6 size so you can laminate them and use dry erase markers to write on them

when I get some more time I'll look to push this further

Many thanks both, yep that's exactly what I'm after for the NetEA lists/Epic UK Armageddon rules.
May I ask what program you used to create that card? And if you would be willing to email one directly so that I could produce my own? I'd be happy to share any I created if you wished ;-)

Even a basic one can look great when laid out on the side of a battlefield. =)
