Blimey!  That's a bit of a turnaround?

I guess that if it's an older version of the LRB it's down to what the staff on hand are familiar with, simply a "word of God" thing I imagine, with them only using what they know.

Maybe. Hopefully.

It's just a strange move considering the community use the CRP for both casual and tournament play. It's basically a no-brainer to use that for their first official tournament in years. Just makes me nervous about the official release is all. Looking forward to it and just hope they listen to the community ^_^

From the sounds of it the "handbook" of rules is going to be CRP (but without Slann, Pact and Underworld), not sure why they didn't just say that.
Galak 3:16 says "There is a point in time that a player really should read the rulebook."
