heroquest comeback

With the new board game out it's getting hard to watch the auctions for the old "warhammer quest" box sets.

Is anyone buying the new box?
Its a fair price if you pre-ordered it, I think!

I'm a bit confused, as the topic title doesn't really match the discussion here.  Are you saying you'd like Heroquest to come back or do you want to discuss the chances of it making a comeback?

The models look good but I can't see our group playing it beyond a couple of one-offs. If it wasn't $150 I'd consider it, but that's a lot of cash to drop for a few moment of hilarity watching one of us get curb stomped while the other characters look on.

Irisado, thank you for the link.  I should have put that in my previous post.  I was hoping that I could catch the eye of anyone that might just come here for only the "xxxQuest" forums.

I did a quick search last night of my other heroquest forums and have not seen anyone talking about the new release.

That is one thing dave, it doesn't tie in much with anything else, yet.  But then again I guess I don't play AOS so maybe it does use those models?  Only time can make it into what the heroquests are today.
