I'm taking a break from infantry this month, so I'll paint a unit of carrion, a unit of skeleton cavalry and 2 Polar Fox  Tomb King characters. I started on Tuesday, so I'll post some WIP photos soon.

I actually have a WIP for once, ha ha.

I intend to paint at least one High Elf archer unit.  Trying to make a legal 2000 point High Elf army, so not sure where I'll go after that.

Ok I will be in for 3 units of daemons.

Summer is over so there might be more time to paint, after 2 failed Tales (June and July)

Cheers

Ole

I will go out in holidays, so I will be out, but I will try to participate with at least one unit.

Mycenaean infantry (sorry for the gramma)

I just finished my myceanic unit:

Then a bonus character for my Roman Army, Erronious an old hero how is searching for his sons who were kidnapped by the pirates years ago:

This is my 2 cents for August Tale, now I can go to holidays in peace

Alright, I'd like to try again this month.

I will try to finish up my pledges from former months:

1 Unit of Empire Halberdiers
1 Evil men Dark Hero on Drake

and just maybe:
1 unit of empire crossbowmen (which would make me have my first legal 1000 point warmaster army!  Woohoo!)

Here are my early in progress photos. The carrion unit is "lead" by a vulture from (I think) Malifaux, which provides a little variety.

And this is a sneak peek from something else I'm doing... my own skull chucker:

It's a tribute to one of my favourite old models from the 80s:

The characters are Polar Fox and particularly good. I've checked and the vulture is from Malifaux:

I picked it up cheap at Leisure Games (Finchley) when they were having a sale.

Just realised I had a good spectrum on my desk from base coat to two different washes to final form.

Lined them up and took a photo, about as close to a proper WIP sequence as I'm likely to do. =)

I like that - it's nice to see the various stages you go through. They're looking great so far!

I've never painted High Elves, but they look so uniform that I'm not sure I'd enjoy it.
