New(?) 6mm manufacturer
« on: August 26, 2016, 02:41:23 PM »
Not come across this manufacturer before:

The spiders and rats could be used in Battle of Five Armies and for a Skaven Rat Swarm respectively. The Wolves as Albion Wolfhounds?

Some of the scenic stuff could be useful too.

They're not brand new, but I think the fantasy models might be new?

I have been eyeing their barrels, sacks, graveyards etc. to use as town decoration or objectives.

Bought some of the wolves to make up some Albion Wolfhounds. With a single Newline Celtic warrior on the centre base to act as the pack master, I've very quickly got myself 4 units. Just some flock to add to the bases and they'll be done - and all for around £2 per unit as well. Happy days.

Interesting, how big are the 6mm wolves compared to a 10mm figure?

This big. They come up to roughly the knee of the human, so Alsatian/Labrador size-ish. At 10mm scale, perfectly adequate, you won't get anatomically correct mutts at that size!

Anyone who already has a 10mm Warmaster Ancients Barbarian army of some description would find these a quick and simple addition to their collection to make an Albion Army.

At first glance, I thought the pendraken rabbits were the limited edition zoat!

Unfortunately not!  It is 25mm, released for WFB 3rd edition (zoats being allies of wood elves in that edition). Even then the limited edition zoat model is slightly smaller than the other two zoats models (with axe and with mace&orb).
