Really nice reading. Soime thoughts reading your battle:

Oh Giants... you cannot live with them... and cannot live without them.

A charging of wolf raiders to chariots, looks risky at first glance. It is true that when I play against chariots I prefere to charge them with whatever to prevent the charge of chariots.

When I play with giant I always ask myself: giant... alone or  escort by troops. It seems giant alone beat a unit or chaos warrior.

Thanks, j!

The thinking with the wolf riders is, as he attacked you get 9 attacks vs. 9, per unit.

If he let me attack I would have had 15 vs. 9 per unit.

Stormwind, did you make those hills?  I keep thinking I want to try a new approach to hills but the hardest thing for me is the slope, I don't want troops sliding off but I want the look of a line of troops swooping over an actual hill.

I see some to purchase just like those but it just seems silly to me to buy some hills :/
though it's what I will probably end up doing!

Good report, nice table!

Thanks guys!

@cjb:

I did buy the hills and I have no shame in saying that.  They're not perfect, stands can still slide off them even though they are quite shallow, usually because I have steel paper on the bottom of mine and top heavy models in metal slide a lot anyhow!
