Here we are with painting, at last

At first, i worked on the animal itself. I was hesitating and wanted to see if my grey schema was ok. And i think it is. I wanted a very natural colour to contrast with the colourfull decorations and the human clothes.

I have continued with the painting of the front. Layers of grey with washes of charadon granite and nuln oil, mainly. Some very ocres for the claws and beak.

I have been hesitating for the blue and red colour. I wanted the human in blue, bretonnian colours. But i liked the animal in rdark red. It fits well with the animal coulour. Finaly i have chosen both colours, but it's strange. generally, animal and human have the same colour.
Anyway, here it is on his new base.

Under the animal, i have choses to add a crackling paint on the flat zone. It's a nice but cheap effect

Wiill try to end it this next Week-End.
