Hello folks,
It had been a hard blow for me to loose all my photobucket's links. And I had a warmaster inactivity of almost a year. But ... I return.
I would like to show you a battle I played this week with a friend. He learned to play warmaster while the game was going on, and he did really well with the vampires counts.
Araby army is made by pendraken figures, mostly of the rank of ottoman turks and some light horsemen of arab dark ages. 1general + 4 bowmen + 3 spearmen + 2 desert horsemen + 2 heavy cavalry
Vampire counts army is made by games workshop figures, pendraken and magister millitum figures. 1 general + 1vampire with nightmare monster + 2 skelletons + 2 zombies + 2 ghouls + 1 ethereal ghost + 2 heavy cavalry
rules are Vanilla printed warmaster.
No terrain.
Just lot of fun.
VC plays offensive hard hitting with a brigade of 2 heavy cav and the winged monster in the right flank, sweeping desert archers and facing the araby heavy cavalry. Both cavalries almost desintegrate in the final clash.
Araby position his battle line defensively with archer in the front and supporting lancers. The arrows disturb the advance of undead army. Finally both masses of infantry collide and vampire counts reach the breakpoint. So Araby victory.
