Chaos dwarf lists? (anticipating the 3d files)
« on: February 13, 2021, 10:11:29 AM »
I'm guessing im not the only one with burgeoning plans for a chaos dwarf army around the gradual release of the 3d printable chaos dwarf proxy files.

Any suggestions for army building? Tactics for use of some of the units?

I've never really got the hang of 15cm ranged shooting units, so not sure how best to use the 2@15cm -1 save blunderbusses … not a cheap unit, bad armour, but have to get in close.

Best use of orc slaves? As support backers for blunderbusses, or do they also have a role in melee infantry blocks. and in general how big an orc/hobgob contintent to take (hobgobs as artillery guard?)

Any tips, advice, or discussion to be had? –  WM or WMrev, either way

Solid core needed, so plenty of dwarves.
Bull Centaurs expensive for their effect, so don't overdo it with them.
Slaves useful, but as above. Not on grounds of cost, but because they are zero armour and therefore an easy way to push you over your break.
Hobgoblin Riders good like all light cavalry.
Earthshakers better than rockets, but need protection.
