I have not been collecting warmaster as long as many on this and other forums.
I missed out on the great rare alt units.
I missed out on my mates at GW getting the pound for a pound deal on the armies.
All these I accept, I pay over the odds for rare units because I want them in the armies I actually play week in, week out.
I would like a kislev army but until (when, if ever) they get re-released, that will just be a pipe dream.
I have sold armies on eBay that are well painted and well structured and been rewarded financially for doing so.
I admire people who also offer this service as not everyone likes the painting side of the hobby.
I also grudgingly accept that people horde models only to get bored when they have a full collection and sell them on.
But what really hacks me off is gimps selling widely available models and books as OOP.
How many high elf heroes are listed on UK eBay as OOP!
Well today I think we should make a stand.
We all want this game to flourish, GW are never going to re-release the old OOP/rare/alt stuff, no matter how much we plead and beg and show business models on how to do it in a cost-effective manner.
But people who sell the regular stuff as OOP at inflated prices to people getting into the hobby are crooks.
So do your bit!
If you see a listing on eBay that is marked as rare or OOP when you know it isn't, report it!
That way, newcomers get a better deal, we may get a few more players to the game and we may all just get those rare models we all so desperately want to complete our collections.
Cheers
Mick
