just a warning about one of the sellers on e-bay called sneakystavern or sneakysroleplaytavern (its one of them or something like that)

it seems he's one of the people whose trying to make as much as he can from the end of specialist games, his product descritions don't match the product and the photos are taken so as to hide any or most of the damage

i just got some chaos cruisers from him and i'm not impressed with the amounts of damage, there aren't even any flying stands

some BFG, some other specialist games stuff, the vast majority seems to be 40K stuff

nearly all of it is second hand but is listed as new, unused, unopened and undamaged

Report him and leave severely negative feedback. Item significantly not as described springs to mind.

yeah that's probably going to run him afoul of the buyer protection. selling something that isn't new (which also means undamaged and in box/container and must be complete) is a big no-no. If they're selling it as used and note something along the lines of "everything pictured" then it's kosher.

well i le-mailed him saying that there was more damage than listed and that his description was innacurate, haven't heard back yet

only thing is that if i open a case about it, i have to return the ships, which i don't want to do

You don't have to return the ships you can just ask for a cash compensation. If you pad $25 bucks you can just say you want $10 back on the ticket. Ebay will take your request into account when they look at your ticket if it goes that far. And you can always deny the return and just keep the item.

This is not exactly what you all want but it is something.
Especially for the guys collecting marines, is less than half of the price people usually pay.

Heresy strike cruiser

Does anyone know who 'Gusman' is on eBay?

I've received stuff from him before and been happy with it, but this lot makes me suspicious- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Warmaster-Casualty-Marker-Lot-OOP-Includes-the-rare-A-Artillery-Games-Workshop-/271314510560?pt=Games_US&hash=item3f2b9ae2e0
It's identical to a lot he sold earlier and received good feedback for (so it wasn't a case of the buyer breaking the deal)- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Warmaster-Casualty-Marker-Lot-OOP-Includes-rare-A-Artillery-Games-Workshop-/271292516119
I'd like to get the 'A' marker, but whether original or recast I still suspect this auction will go way over my head.

As an additional oddity- Baseball, phone, syringe, bucket? and warmaster all in the one auction! -http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/boys-TOYS-LOT-T-BALL-THOMAS-WARMASTER-NEW-METAL-PIECES-NEW-PARENTS-PHONE-BALLOON-/230942675887?pt=Outdoor_Toys_Structures_US&hash=item35c54193af

Incidentally, this is less than what you get if you sell all the units for £10 like you mentioned on the other thread that people were doing. Will be interesting to see if he/she can actually get it sold said the man with a spare set.

Heh, apparently £40 inc. P&P is a more realistic target.  Went out with my family and missed this auction entirely, damn. =-/

Whaaaaaaaaaat?

Absolutely bonkers.  I picked up 4 units of Kislev at less than £20 a blister just the other day - and these ones went for more than twice that despite being available for the past 10 years. :-X
