No single Warmaster unit will ever be worth that much to me.

Welp, I had actually wanted to start a DE army but missed the bus on that one.

Just ordered 4 units of Dark Riders from GW.  One of the handful of units left on the website. =-/

Build them with High Elves in a suitably dark scheme? A Nagarythe army from the days of yore.

You know that actually was something like my plan.

A year ago when I realised how flimsy High Elf spears were - I planned on buying DE spearmen as they are much tougher, and painting them like swordsmasters. =-P

And use the same army for two lists? That's a good way to fight the Ebay pricing. :)

The lists are quite similar to be honest, they could easily have been the same list with options for dark or high elven armies just like the Peloponnesian lists in Warmaster Ancient Armies e.g. That being said I quite prefer the Dark Elf list myself in spite of Harpies vs Eagles, no 3+ shooting and no re-rolled spells. I'll take Cold Ones, double shooting light cavalry and the Dominion spell any day over that.

Really want to bid on this but he packaging and import cost alone to the UK is $150 which is... a considerable issue. =-<

That was actually a rather reasonable ending price I'd say. Less than what it would have cost to order it from GW last Spring at least.

Yeah, I calculated it at about 52 blister packs, or £450 worth if bought new from GW.

But that import charge stuff really kicked out of my reach. ;.;

Unfortunately reasonable and within reach are sometimes two different things.

That is exactly the point. I don't have that sum to put in figs at this period of the year. Xmas is too costy.

But in a point of view of a blister price, yes, it was a good bargain. Id the winner take time to relist everything, he will re sell everything for three time this price easily.

Shameless scalping.  These are still available from the GW website for £8.70 each.  That's why I went and bought 4, because I knew someone would come and take the piss by putting them up at this price in a month or two.

Dwarf Zeppelin and Airship went for a smaller price than i thought they would. Just to note.

By the way, does someone have rules for them ?
