In the 'similar' listings at the bottom of the page, it shows another of those same candlesticks, for 19.99!

OK this is my new fave. <3

While there were around 4 000 000 copies of these candlesticks casted originally. Now these undamaged parts are relatively rare. Maybe there are many undamaged still in their gameboxes stored on dusty attics, the amount that comes up for sale is rather few.

You could have bought two of them for the same price as the following unreleased Confrontation figure from the same seller!!

Unreleased stuff can not be compared to classical one. They are far rarer. When they are not recasts...

Almost 300€ for one model is ridiculous, regardless of how rare it is, in my opinion.

Blimey, haven't posted here in a while - how about this for starters:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LORD-OF-THE-RINGS-RETURN-KING-GAMES-WORKSHOP-CARRIER-BAG-PLASTIC-VGC-COLLECTABLE-/302380905067?hash=item46674e726b:g:D5IAAOxyGxxSKIMG

Brilliantly, his user name is "money for old rope" which, for our non English speakers, as a saying referring to tricking someone into buying something useless.

errr sorry to correct you, but it does not mean tricking or useless.  "money for old rope" means...

[spoiler]getting money easily for little or no effort!
