Nurgle look festering enough for two ;) and those pikenieres are so good! Especially like the skintone and their faces!

And we're off.

Flagellents! My least favourite Empire troops to paint. All that hair!

yep, hair + flames + little surfaces to write things like "mother love" "for sigmar" or paint a fallen meteorite

How encouraging guys! :p Don't worry. I've just completed seven units of state troops so I'm ready for a change. Trickiest part will be to tie them to the rest of the army I think.

Recent progress.

Aquahog - one advantage of flagellents is it's perfectly acceptable to give them a scruffier look than the state troops. Who ever heard of immaculately turned-out flagellents?

Ole - looking very striking already

bsonbudak - I'll second the eagle comments! Beautiful plumage.

Impressive unit ofpanther knights, well done Ole!

While thinking how to base the daemons, I could steal some time so I paint other of Daemon horde and prepare the cavalry. This time using inks with the experience aquire with the great unclean one.

About the basing I am thinking in some black soil with irreal stuff or cristals. I had some decoration powder bought in IKEA very cheap It is call Kulört 0.75Kg 2 euros or something, and I think it could work pretty good. To give the irreal stuff I wanted to add something, have no clue of how to get cheap sharp crystals. Other option is some copper powder or chips that I could get from a metal workbench and mixed with the Ikea dark sand to get a metallic mixture....

any comments or aid?

Whilst I never made the commitment at the start of the month (I forgot) I have continued.

Some GW Empire Crossbowmen from Averland (who will moonlight in my DoW as well)

another update.

Today I recieved the order to magister millitum

I start to play with some ideas to make the Nurgle Palanquin as a Hero for the army (Ok is not entery demon, but I always like the Nurgle palanquins). Here it is what I am planning:

Then I work a little bit more with my general. I think the paint of the main unclean one is Ok by me. But have three possibilities.

OPTION 1 Unclean on Devouring souls.

OPTION 2 Great Champion raiding Unclean one

OPTION 3 Great unclean granting power to a young warrior

What do you like most or recommend me ?
