I'm a little ashamed to put it up with all the awesome stuff here, but here is my finished zweihanders and crossbowman.  Thanks for putting this on, it definitely motivates me to paint more!

Don't be! you did a great job.
I always thought the tale of painters is about getting stuff done and not about competition. If the competition thing is getting in the way of participation we should do a poll about having this kind of competition at the end of the show.

Indeed. Ever since I saw that army on the Pendraken forum I've considered it to be one of the most coherent and unique armies out there.

Dwarfs are looking sharp as well kyuss.

I just love seeing stuff getting painted. It motivates me to actually get something done myself ;) It's also very educational when we share WIP's showing off different approaches and techniques being used.

It's also very interesting seeing other manufacturers miniatures painted :) gives me a better idea of size, detailing and such.

I just see the voting as a chance to give someone an extra pat on the back.

Dont forget to sign up for june and post them pics ^^

Right.... count me an Epic Fail.......  but work, and more importantly Real Life (TM) kicked me in the shins and I am an abject fail in producing results......

Am I allowed to push my May entry to June ?

I don't think anyone is going to complain. If they do, too bad. :P

I'm trying to get banners printed for my Landsknechte, my old ink jet isn't preforming though.

[ENTRY]

Here's my May batch - as I said earlier in the thread, I hit my target mid-month and pushed to paint two more units and a dragon. I'm crap at photographing miniatures and these look much more washed out in the daylight than they are in reality!

The whole lot, advancing with eerie undead silence across a Quality Street lid.

The Bone Dragon character. Not entirely happy with the sculpting on the scarab shield, but it's fine from a distance.

A closer view of the chariots - I loathed painting these in the past, but now I'm getting to enjoy them. Good job really, as I have 3 or more units to go.

Well, I got three units done in May. Wish it had been more. Still need to flock (and add some better highlights)...
