[WM] Mycenic warlord vs Dagon Seagod
« on: September 03, 2016, 02:50:22 AM »
Today I played with fantasy system a little solo game. Very enjoyable.

Myceanic army was compose for infantry (3, 3, 6+) and a light chariot (2/1, 3, 6+ chariot can shoot 15 all around).
General (Cmd8 A2+); Hero (Cmd 8 A+1); Priestess or beast tammer (Cmd 7A0 can make magic)

Fishem/Dagon army has Fishmen minions (3, 4, 0, monster based in long base) - very interestig 4 hits no armour and monster makes them fun because when attacking in open roll 5+

Newtlings (3/1, 3, 0 infantry)

Giant crab (3, 3, 4+ cavalry).

Monster lobster (4, 5, 4+ monster)

Mairmaids (5, 3, 0 monster based in long base, can not be out of water. Once per turn in initiative phase they can choose a enemy unit and with 4+ force the enemy unit to go straigh ahead toward the mairmaids. If the mesmerised enemy unit contact a fishmen army's unit or mairmaids themselves treat as being charged by the mairmaids or fishmens unit)

Tritons (2, 3, 6+ cavalry, can not be out of water )

Poseidon/Neptune/Dagon (command 10 attacks+3, can not be out of water, can make magic)
Fishmen minions (command 7, attacks 0, command radius 20cm, can not make magic)

Monster lobster is very weak but their role is to support.
I am happy with the Dagon list. Defenitively not for players-winners-at-all-cost, but very fun of play.

Not really a report just some shots:

MYCEANIC VICTORY

That looks awesome!  Those giant crabs look pretty awesome, and the monster lobster is great!  Good work myceans, must be tough living in the age of myth.

I posted the battle elsewhere, and someone ask me why giant fish is attacking myceans. So I just tell following legen (as I made the effort of searching the pictures and made up the Tale I share it here too):

Leyends tale about a Miceanic King who ruled wisely in the city of Lerma. The Wise King lives a long life but when he die he left two sons in the age of govern the region. The two sons discuss each other to rule the Palace, even they insult each otehr. Finally the Good Patience Son accepted that the Greedy One son ruled the Palace and begin a new reign in city of Lerma

The new young King has no respect for the gods and start exploting the fishing without the proper ceremonies and in a bad manner.

That unproper way of fishing irritate to Sea God, who was know by different names, Dagon or later Poseidon, Neptune or even Leviathan when he was upset, and this time he felt wraith....

... so the summoned from the blue dark deeps all his minions and came to the surface to attack Lerma and the Greedy Bad King

The battle happens near the seashore (INSERT BATTLE REPORT)

Myceanic army defeat the sea creatures, but the people realize the true nature of their new King and revolted against him. Finally the people crown his brother the Good patience King and all the city celebrate it doing a proper spanish-bullfight

And that is a True Legened and why the Myceanic had to defend against giant fish attacking them.

I am just glad that such a thing as a "monster lobster" exists and can fight in Warmaster. =D
